Mezzo-soprano Jennifer Webb grew up in a musical family listening to Gilbert and Sullivan records. She appears as a soloist around the Boston area and performs regularly with Cantata Singers and the Oriana Consort. Ms. Webb also holds the position of alto soloist at First Baptist Church in Lexington. Past performances include programs of German and Italian Baroque rarities, recitals of songs by Copland, Ives, Britten, De Falla, and Poulenc, and solo appearances in works ranging from Bach to Saint Saens. She has recorded two albums as a member of the Christmas Revels chorus. Jennifer studied literature at Oberlin College, where she sang with the Oberlin Collegium Musicum. She received her Master's in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois, and works as a cataloging librarian in Lexington.
