Emily Jaworski, Soprano

Emily Jaworski has been earning praise for her "good stage presence, solid acting prowess and pleasing vocal ability” (Opera Online).  Equally at home in recital, musical theatre, oratorio or opera, she has been gaining accolades throughout New England for her unique blend of vocal skill and committed acting.

This year, Ms Jaworski made her role debuts as Norina in Don Pasquale  (Longwood Opera), Annina in La Traviata (Granite State Opera) and Emily Webb in Ned Rorem’s opera adaptation of Our Town (Raylynmor Opera).   Ms. Jaworski was also named a National Semifinalist in the Artist Award competition, sponsored by the National Association of Teachers of Singing.  She spent the summer of 2008 in residency at Opera Works, Ann Baltz’s nationally recognized training institute for singing actors.  

Upcoming engagements include a concert of sacred and secular musicwith Enterprise Opera Productions, and “A Czech Songbook,” featuring songs by Janaček and Dvořak. 

Emily earned her Master’s degree in performance from Boston University, with undergraduate studies at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.  She is currently on the faculty of John Stark Regional High School (Weare, NH) and the Concord Community Music School (NH).  .
