Executive Director
Cappella Clausura, an award winning professional vocal ensemble, seeks an Executive Director responsible for overseeing the administration, programs and strategic plan of the organization. Expected commitment of 20-30 hours of remote work per week. In-person support required at all Cappella Clausura organized performances and events, including but not limited to our eight in-person concerts per season.
About Cappella Clausura
Founded in 2004 by Artistic Director Amelia LeClair, Cappella Clausura, performs music of women composers from the 9th century to the present day and in 2017 received the Alice Parker /ASCAP Awards for adventurous programming.
Responsibilities:

Maintain our pool of volunteers and manage all Front of House needs during our 8 seasonal performances

Manage our ticketing/fundraising software and provide patron support as needed
-
Provide reports to Artistic Director and Board of Directors as requested
-
Assist with contracts for artists, venues, and additional hires
-
Generate all print and digital marketing materials for programs and fundraising appeals
-
Upkeep our virtual presence through posts to our website, Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube pages
-
Conceptualize and execute two annual fundraising appeals
-
Develop relationships with key community stakeholders and artistic partners
-
Liaise with the Artistic Director and Board of Directors at regular intervals

Supply data on organizational and industry trends to Artistic Director and Board of Directors as requested

Ensure the institutional stability of our ensemble
Qualifications:
-
A passion for our mission of performing long-neglected works by women in music and the arts
-
A bachelor’s degree, or equivalent professional or academic experience
-
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills (must network at concerts)
-
The ability to effectively recruit and manage volunteers
-
Experience in the field of arts non-profits, preferably in Boston area
-
Experience planning and executing large-scale projects: i.e. concerts, fundraising events, educational residencies
-
Experience and success in pursuing financial support from private donors, foundations, and corporations
-
Familiarity with Mac OS preferred but not essential
-
Experience with CRMs essential; Thundertix helpful but not essential
-
Technology skills include: Google for non-profits, Quickbooks, Canva, Wix
-
Abide by Association of Fundraising Professionals code of ethical standards

Must have computer, printer, and transportation
Compensation:

Contract position, pay confidential, commensurate with experience
